Cross Country Carnival

Our school Cross Country will be held on Tuesday 4 April 223. This is a long distance running event for all students K-6. 

Students are to wear their sports uniform or their house colours and a hat.

House colours are:

Banksia- blue

Grevillea- yellow

Mimosa - green

Waratah- red

What to bring: Recess, lunch and water. The school canteen will be open for pre-ordered food only. No other lunch orders will be accepted on the day.

Race details:

• Kindergarten and Year 1 run one lap of the oval
• Year 2 run 2 laps of the oval
• Year 3-6 and students turning 8 years old in 2023, will run a course from one oval to the other, starting and finishing near the basketball court
• 8,9,10 year olds will run 2 laps.
• 11 and 12+ year olds run three laps.

Students are to remain seated with their house colour. K-2 students will return to class after their events are run.

Parents and caregivers are welcome to attnd. All spectators will ned to ring their own seating. Spectators may sit in the middle of the oval or on the hill/ step area behind the library.

Please be respectful to all students by staying clear of the running course.
